We are excited to be back in the dojo training together again. With regard to COVID, we will follow both California’s and the CDC's guidelines. This means that if you have been fully vaccinated, you may train without a mask. If you have not been vaccinated, we ask that you still wear a mask. Of course, if you’re vaccinated and still would like to wear a mask, that’s ok too!
This is the honor system, so we will not ask for any proof of vaccination status. We may also relax these requirements as more information becomes available regarding the virus and the efficacy of the various vaccines over the next several months.
Please reach out if you have any questions regarding this policy.
Can’t wait to see you back on the mat!
Adult classes are offered three days a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. Classes are open and visitors are welcome. If you are interested in training, come in for a free class and see our specials.
Tai Juitsu or body arts, which are done empty-handed.
Weapons Training or Buki-waza (tools of the way): Practices that involve a wooden sword (Aiki-ken or bokken) or a wooden staff (Aiki -Jo). These practices are fun, different, and are very good if you have a physical condition or injury that might prohibit you from practicing Tai Juitsu. They are directly linked to the body arts so you will be learning the key fundamentals of Aikido without taking falls or rolls.
